Back then, huge swaths of the playerbase had nothing to do at level cap, since raiding was kind of inaccessible for a large portion of people. So you had lots of gamers with gold (no consumable costs) to burn and nothing to do at cap. They made twinks. Not the case today. WebBoA = Bind on Account. These are your heirloom gear/mounts/pets which can be used on any character on your account regardless of how new or old they are. BfA = Battle for Azeroth.
