Because of that the tall skinny tire will be compressed more vertically and have less ground clearance under the axle. You can still get pretty tall skinny tsls, but they're bias ply. There's also the 255/100/r16, which is 36" tall and radial, but not great on the road. There's other stuff around that width in 70,75, and 80 aspect ratios, but that's all around 33" tall.
